Quality teachers, classroom environment, and parent/guardian involvement will ensure success for our students.
The age-old adage, “Children are our Future,” is perhaps said so much that it is now cliché. But the importance of education can never be understated. The United States now ranks 17th in worldwide education standards. I will support classroom improvement by promoting the hiring of quality teachers and encouraging parent/guardian involvement within the classroom. While individual test scores and report cards are important, I believe the education system is a community project that takes cooperation and hard work to improve. I will help to create, support, and maintain the policies and programs necessary to make these improvements.
